Traditional Use: The oil has been used as a treatment for cystitis and bronchitis. It also has many skin care applications for cuts, bruises, and burns.

Benefits: Bronchitis, bruises, burns, chills, colds, coughs, cuts, cystitis, intestinal infections, stress related conditions, urinary issues. Because this is oil a base note it makes a good fixative for any disinfectant blend used in a diffuser or for surfaces.

Blends Well With: Cedarwood, citrus oils, clary sage, jasmine, rose, vanilla, ylang ylang

Of Interest: The crude balsam and herbal oil have been used in paints and lacquers as an emollient.
